November 6, 2025 12:00 PM Eastern
Description
One of the key roles of primary care is to communicate current scientific knowledge and research findings and to translate them into meaningful care for children and families. Recently, there has been an overwhelming amount of both information and misinformation about autism circulating in traditional and social media. As a result, many families feel confused and uncertain about what to believe. This session will explore strategies for helping families navigate the current media landscape and understand how emerging science informs our understanding of autism.
