CT-AAP Board and Officer Positions:

Chapter Officers and the five At-Large Board Members make up the voting members of the Chapter Board of Directors.  As such, they are responsible for setting the Chapter’s budget, hiring the Chapter Executive, and helping to determine the direction of the Chapter’s membership, advocacy, and educational activities.  They are expected to participate in (and help lead) the Chapter’s various committees and to help represent the Chapter as needed.  Positions are meant to be accessible to pediatricians of all backgrounds, but nominees are encouraged to speak to current office holders in determining their ability to fill position’s responsibilities.

Fixed meetings:

The Board of Directors meets four times a year for 2-3 hours in the evening.  Chapter Officers hold bi-weekly one hour calls with the Executive Director’s team.
