Dr. David Kuo receives ACPNJ Laureate Award

Congratulations to David Kuo, MD, FACP!

Dr. Kuo received the ACP-New Jersey Laureate Award on Friday, March 9, 2018.  The Laureate Award honors Fellows and Masters of the College who have demonstrated by their example and conduct an abiding commitment to excellence in medical care, education, or research and in service to their community, their Chapter, and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Kuo, Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency, and Co-Site Director for the Internal Medicine Clerkship at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, is known as a mentor to students and residents, as well as an incredibly gifted facilitator of difficult conversations. His ability to connect with his patients has been recognized by their donations to support Morristown’s primary care educational programs.

As a member of the American College of Physicians New Jersey Chapter, Dr. Kuo has shown continued dedication to the College through his long-term service as a member of the Council and Chair of the ACP-NJ Speaker’s Bureau as well as a judge for the ACP-NJ Abstract Competition.
