Nayan Kothari, MD, MACP elected Governor-Elect for ACPNJ Southern Region
ACPNJ is pleased to announce that Nayan Kothari, MD, MACP has been elected to the position of Governor-Elect for the ACPNJ Southern Region.
Dr. Kothari is a practicing rheumatologist in New Brunswick and serves as the residency director at St. Peter’s Internal Medicine Residency Program.
He graduated from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore University, and completed his residency at St. Peter’s Medical Center. Dr. Kothari is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Kothari has received several teaching awards from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Drexel University College of Medicine, the Edward J. Ill Outstanding Medical Education Award from the Excellence in Medicine Foundation, and the Academic Award from the Middlesex County Medical Society.
In addition, Dr. Kothari was presented with the ACPNJ Laureate Award in 2001.
